To craft your customized pet keepsakes, we collect:
- Your pet's name, memorial dates (if applicable), and design choices.
- The photos you upload of your pet for our retouching and artwork process.
- Your contact details, email address, shipping address, and billing info.
2. How We Use Your Photos
Your uploaded photos are used solely to create your digital proofs and final custom products. They are stored securely on our servers and shared only with our hand-touch artists and dedicated production workshops inToronto, Canada.We never license, sell, or share your pet's photos with outside third parties without your explicit consent.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We use standard storefront cookies to keep track of your shopping cart contents, active option selections, and currency preferences (USD vs CAD). This ensures a seamless, personalized experience as you navigate our catalog.
4. Security
Your payment details are encrypted and processed through certified secure checkouts (Shopify Payments, Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Pay). We maintain rigorous security standards to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of your personal keepsakes.

Terms of Service
Welcome to FondTail. By visiting our storefront, customizing items, or purchasing any keepsake, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Handcrafted Personalization
Every keepsake at FondTail is made to order and customized individually. Because items are handcrafted, slight variations in color, layout, or line weight may occur. These minor details are not defects but rather the unique mark of handmade artistry.
2. Digital Proof Approval Policy
We pride ourselves on our Free 24-hour Digital Proof service. Here is how it works:
- Within 24 hours of ordering, our artists will email you a digital proof for review.
- You may request revisions to the artwork or name layout. We will make corrections until you are happy.
- To avoid shipping delays, if we do not receive a response within 72 hours of sending the initial proof, we reserve the right to auto-approve the proof and proceed to production.
3. Image Uploads and Rights
By uploading a photo of a pet, you represent and warrant that you own the rights to the image or have explicit permission to use it. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders containing low-quality, offensive, or copyright-violating imagery.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are shown in either USD or CAD depending on your currency toggle. Payments are processed securely via encrypted channels. You are responsible for providing correct shipping and contact information.
5. Revisions and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms or adjust prices without prior notice. Continued use of our storefront constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
Refund Policy
We want you to love your pet keepsakes. Because we create custom, personalized products, we do not accept physical returns. However, we stand behind our craftsmanship and offer a strong happiness guarantee.
1. 30-Day Happiness Guarantee
If your keepsake arrives damaged, misprinted, or you are simply unhappy with the custom artwork or engraving, we want to make it right. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order, and we will gladly:
- Redo and ship a brand new replacement keepsake, entirely free.
- Issue a full refund back to your original payment method.
2. Cancellations Before Printing
You can cancel your order for a 100% full refund at any time before you approve the digital proof. If you decide the preview artwork isn't right for you, simply let us know during the proofing phase, and we will issue an immediate refund.
3. Order Changes
If you need to change your text engraving, uploaded photo, or selection details, please email us as soon as possible. Once you approve the digital proof, the order goes directly into craft production, after which changes cannot be made.
4. Filing a Claim
To file a claim for a refund or replacement, please go to our Contact Page and provide your order number and a photo of the item you received. Our team will resolve your request within 24 hours.
Shipping Policy
We craft and ship our keepsakes locally to ensure safe, duty-free, and rapid delivery for pet parents.
1. Shipping & Fulfillments
Every order is handcrafted and shipped locally from our Toronto workshop (via Canada Post or UPS). Because we ship from within Canada, no customs fees, import taxes, or cross-border delays will ever apply to your order.
2. Shipping Rates & Thresholds
We are happy to offer free shipping on all orders over CA$70. Orders below CA$70 ship for a flat fee of CA$6.95.
3. Timeline and Turnaround
Since every keepsake is customized by hand, please expect the following schedule:
- Digital Proofing: 24 hours.
- Artisan Crafting: 2–4 business days (after proof approval).
- Transit Shipping: 2–4 business days.
- Total Delivery Time: 5–10 business days.
4. Tracking Your Order
As soon as your keepsake leaves our workshop, you will receive a tracking link via email. You can also use our Track Order Page to follow your package status.
